The Committee of this Lodge of Improvement is pleased to announce that the Preceptors’ Festival for 2026 will be held on Friday 26th June 2026. The Festival will open at 4.30pm, with temple doors open from 4.00pm.
The Preceptors’ Festival celebrates the work of our Recognised Lodges of Instruction and brings together workers from across the country to demonstrate the ritual to the highest possible standard, often having not worked as a full ‘team’ before.
This year’s festival will see demonstrations of the Third Degree and Ceremony of Installation, followed by a sparkling reception and 3-course dinner at Freemasons’ Hall, all of which is subsidised by ELoI.
The Festival is open to Master Masons and above, whatever their ritual background.
Date and Time: Friday 26th June 2026, 4.30pm (doors from 4.00pm)
Venue: Freemasons’ Hall, 60 Great Queen Street, London, WC2b 5AZ
Dress code: Masonic dress or dark lounge suit; Undress regalia, no gloves.
Programme of Work: Third Degree; Ceremony of Installation.
Dining: A drinks reception and 3-course dinner will follow at Freemasons’ Hall at a subsidised cost of £70 – all are encouraged to dine.
Carriages: 9.20pm.
